Giveaway of a Family 4 Pack of tickets to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Toronto.
Looking for a fun day out with the kids in Toronto? If there are LEGO lovers in your family then they will be thrilled with a visit to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto (“LDC Toronto”).
LDC Toronto, a scaled-down, indoor version of a LEGOLAND theme park, is conveniently located at the Vaughan Mills shopping centre. Any family with kids who love LEGO can’t help but have a fabulous time visiting this facility where they can construct and play to their heart’s content. Highlights of LEGOLAND include a Factory Tour, MINILAND Toronto, two rides, a 4D cinema and several themed play areas.
My younger daughter and I visited a year or so ago when she was 10 and we had a great time examining the details of the buildings in the MINILAND Toronto display, performing on the karaoke stage of the LEGO Friends play area, and building towers on the Earthquake Tables.
Lego fans who also love Star WarsTM will be thrilled to learn about the new themed exhibit LEGO Star WarsTM MINILAND Model Display which had its Grand Opening at LDC Toronto on March 7th. The walk-through model exhibit offers an intergalactic immersion into Star WarsTM Episode II: Attack of the Clones and will be on display for one year. The exhibit is free to guests with general paid admission and I imagine it will be a highlight for visitors of all ages.

I love lego, and have never been to one.
Sarah at Journeys of The Zoo
We went last summer and The Kids had such a great time. So much so that they didn’t want to leave. AT ALL.
They didn’t have the MINILAND Star Wars Exhibit then or if they did, we didn’t get a chance to see it. Hoping to make it back soon.

Love Miniland Toronto! Everyone’s doing everything with Lego these days. A trip to the Discovery Centre looks worth it even for adults.

Definitely fun for adults too, Lesley, but they must be accompanied by a child to visit except for some special adults-only evenings that LEGOLAND has.

We have a 5 year old son, Zeke, who is OBSESSED with all things Lego. He has a 2.5 year old sister, Amélie Grace, who is following closely in his footsteps. A year ago we took a spontaneous jaunt from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia for our maiden Legoland park voyage (as expected, a big hit). We couldn’t stop there, now could we? Round two was our recent visit to Legoland California for Zeke’s fifth birthday, which gave him this crazy, itchy little bug that we can’t seem to satiate, and we are hungry to get a third Lego-themed adventure in the next 3-6 months. Toronto would be aMAZing (we’ve never explored Canada beyond BC). We are a family of explorer-sojourners who do business so that we can do travel. And, we travel to maintain our sanity and nurture kids who get what the world is really about. The Lego Universe may not be the center of the universe, but what a great excuse to get out of the Pacific Northwest for a new adventure. (What a great contest, btw!)

many of my students have visited and I am interested in trying it out and getting some info about a field trip.

The Star Wars exhibit is brand new, Sarah – just opened and will be open for one year. Maybe you will get a chance for a return visit!
Lisa Goodmurphy
Stacey, I think it’s a great idea to let kids pursue their passion through travel – they make great memories that way! We have done our fair share of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson travel over the last few years too. 🙂 Even if you don’t win you should bring your family to Toronto – there’s a lot to see and do in addition to Legoland!
